Regi Teasley will speak on Flood Preparation in Tompkins County. Regi states, “We are seeing more extreme rain events and more intense heat waves in Tompkins County. Let’s get ready together for the risks ahead by thinking about how to prepare, who to contact for help, and how to get through it. Also, I would like to hear your concerns and suggestions about what we need from the county and first responders.” Regi is a retired Sociology professor, environmentalist and chair of the Tompkins County Environmental Management Council’s Climate Adaptation Committee.
