  in the Annex\n(coffee and snacks available at 8:45 am)\nModern Day Vietna
 m – A Traveler's Perspective\n\nPat and John Gaines recently returned fr
 om five weeks in Southeast Asia\, with time in South Korea\, Vietnam\, and
  Cambodia. In addition to seeing the sights\, the group tour engaged with 
 people at a personal level in all parts of Vietnam\, including a former No
 rth Vietnam Army regular\, a Viet Cong guerrilla fighter\, and a Vietnames
 e Army soldier.\n\nJohn will draw on these meetings to lead a discussion a
 bout modern Vietnam\, the aftermath of the "American War" 50 years later\,
  and the impact of 47 years of communist rule on people's lives. There wil
 l be a limited number of slides and time for group participation since the
 re are other FUSIT members who have also traveled in Vietnam.\n\nUse the e
 ntrance at 208 E. Buffalo Street for elevator access.
