 nce on Aurora St.\n\nSpeakers: Mary-Paul Kirkpatrick and Matt Hare\n\n"The
  Dawn of Everything: A New History of Humanity" -- weighty bestseller writ
 ten over a 10-year period by renowned activist and anthropologist David Gr
 aeber and archaeologist David Wengrow\, which came out a year ago -- will 
 be presented by Mary-Paul Kirkpatrick and Matt Hare. "The Dawn" considers 
 new evidence from science and research which upends current assumptions th
 at humans progressed in linear fashion from small hunter-gatherer groups t
 o agriculture\, private property\, conflicts and the inequalities we have 
 now. The truth is much more varied and interesting. Mary-Paul will give an
  introduction\, hoping to convey why she finds it bracingly UU. Mary-Paul
  has attended since about 1995. She has a degree in music theory and makes
  reproductions of baroque oboes using historic techniques. She is married 
 to lifetime UU Dick Cogger and they have two daughters.\n\nMatt will deal 
 with the cultural influence from our native Northeast Americans on the Fre
 nch "Enlightenment\," and more. Matt has attended FUSIT since 2007. He tea
 ches in the Environment and Sustainability major at Cornell and does mari
 ne conservation and evolutionary research. He is married to Kerry Shaw and
  they have two children.
