Antiracism Film and Lecture Series

Civil War (Or Who Do We Think We Are?)

On January 11, 2022, at 6:30 pm via Zoom, the Antiracism Team Program Group will present the film, Civil War (Or Who Do We Think We Are).

The film is a documentary about how Americans perceive the Civil War, racism, and history in America.  Traveling from Mississippi to Massachusetts, the filmmaker interviews southerners devoted to their confederate ancestors, African Americans considering their history, white liberals looking for their place, and high school students trying to understand.  “Civil War paints a portrait of the American psyche and the deep roots of our turbulent times”.
