Our society\u00a0is autonomous.<\/p>\n<p>We are brave, curious, and compassionate thinkers and doers. We are diverse in faith, ethnicity, history and spirituality, but aligned in our desire to make a difference for the good. We have a track record of standing on the side of love, justice, and peace.<\/p>\n<p>We need not think alike to love alike. We are people of many <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uua.org\/beliefs\/who-we-are\/beliefs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">beliefs<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uua.org\/beliefs\/who-we-are\/backgrounds\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">backgrounds<\/a>: people with a religious background, people with none, people who believe in a God, people who don\u2019t, and people who let the mystery be. On the forefront of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer inclusion for more than 40 years, we are people of all sexual orientations and gender identities.<\/p>\n<p>We are Unitarian Universalist and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uua.org\/beliefs\/who-we-are\/beliefs\/buddhism\">Buddhist<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uua.org\/beliefs\/who-we-are\/beliefs\/christianity\">Christian<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uua.org\/beliefs\/who-we-are\/beliefs\/hinduism\">Hindu<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uua.org\/beliefs\/who-we-are\/beliefs\/humanism\">Humanist<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uua.org\/beliefs\/who-we-are\/beliefs\/judaism\">Jewish<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uua.org\/beliefs\/who-we-are\/beliefs\/islam\">Muslim<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uua.org\/beliefs\/who-we-are\/beliefs\/pagan\">Pagan<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uua.org\/beliefs\/who-we-are\/beliefs\/atheist-agnostic\">atheist and agnostic<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uua.org\/beliefs\/what-we-believe\/higher-power\">believers in God<\/a>, and more.<\/p>\n<p>We welcome you: your whole self, with all your truths and your doubts, your worries and your hopes.
