Choir
Adult Choir
Our adult choir, under the direction of Jennifer Lawrence Birnbaum, rehearses on Thursday evenings from 7:15-8:45 from September through May. We usually sing three pieces in one Sunday celebration per month. Our repertoire consists of music from a variety of styles and cultures. Some of our favorite UU contemporary composers are Elizabeth Alexander, Ysaye Barnwell, and Jim Scott, though you will also find us singing Bach chorales, Renaissance motets and country waltzes.
