“Meet the Moment: Reimagining Radical Faith Community”
June 22 – 26

Join UUs from around the world for General Assembly in Portland, Oregon. This year’s annual meeting of the UUA will be multiplatform (in person and online). In addition to business sessions, the General Assembly (GA) program offers workshops, lectures, and worship and witness opportunities during the five days of GA. Registration options
for in-person and/or virtual participation are open.

The 2022 Ware Lecturer is Ibram X. Kendi.

Dr. Kendi is author of five straight #1 New York Times bestsellers, including How to Be an Antiracist and the National Book Award-winning Stamped From The Beginning: A Definitive History of Racist Ideas in America. In 2020, Time magazine named him one of the 100 most influential people in the world. His relentless and passionate research puts into question the notion of a post-racial society and opens readers’ and audiences’ eyes to the reality of racism in America today. Dr. Kendi’s events are sharp, informative, and hopeful, serving as a strong platform for any institution’s discussions on racial discrimination.

Dr. Kendi will deliver the lecture at 4 pm Pacific on Saturday, June 25. In-person registration is required to attend the event in Portland, Oregon. In-person or full virtual registration is required to live-stream the event on June 25, or access the video on-demand when it is posted.
