The Reimagining Public Safety Initiative in Ithaca
Sunday, March 5, at 12 pm in the Annex

In the hope of keeping the congregation informed about local race-related issues in Ithaca, the Antiracism Team is offering this after-service discussion of police-community relations. Marty Hiller will do a presentation on Ithaca’s Reimagining Public Safety Initiative in the context of antiracism and our UU principles. They will discuss the recent history of police relations in Ithaca, the City’s plan for restructuring the Department, and the issues surrounding implementation. Information will be provided on how interested participants can learn more and get involved in supporting this initiative.
