LGBTQ+ Allyship workshop

Please join Dr. Cortney Johnson (she/they) for a discussion about LGBTQ+ allyship. This conversation will focus on introductory information about gender, sex, sexuality, and romantic orientation. We will discuss terminology as well as best practices for supporting the LGBTQ+ community. Dr. Cortney “CJ” Johnson (she/they) serves as Associate Dean of Students and the Director of the LGBT Resource Center at Cornell University. They provide strategic leadership for the Resource Center, which aims to support and empower LGBTQ+ students on campus. CJ has worked in Higher Education for over a decade, affording her the opportunity to gain a plethora of experience in providing college student support, facilitating diversity and inclusion trainings, and implementing LGBTQ+ competencies.
