Beacon on Aurora, our monthly concert series, continues on Sunday, October 1, for an evening with Albertan Songwriter Scott Cook. Living as a troubadour since 2007, he has toured Canada, the US, Europe, Asia, Australia, New Zealand and elsewhere, and has released seven albums of plainspoken, keenly observed verse along the way. He has been nominated for English Songwriter of the year, his third Canadian Folk Music Award nomination. His single “Say Can You See” was the second most-played song of 2020 on Folk Alliance International’s folk radio charts. Doors open at 6:30 and the concert starts at 7 pm. $20 suggested donation at the door. Cash preferred.
