The Anti-Racism Ministry Team is planning to meet on Tuesday, August 9 at 12:30 p.m. via Zoom. We will be looking forward to the upcoming year with a special emphasis and focus on what our community looks like now that we have adopted the 8th Principle. We hope to see new faces at the meeting. If you are interested in finding out a bit about our work, you are welcome to join us. Here is a general description of the team’s work.

The ANTI-RACISM MINISTRY TEAM seeks to educate ourselves and the congregation about our racialized history and the ongoing harmful racist elements of our society. We hope to make informed, meaningful and effective efforts to reach across the very real color barriers in our community and our denomination, and to take action against racial injustice.
